Dit expressionistische portret van een prachtige narcis heb ik geschilderd in olieverf. Ik plukte er één uit onze tuin en maakte na een toonwaardestudie in grijstonen, een heel kleurige studie in pastelkrijt; de aanleiding voor een mooi groot en kleurrijk bloemportret! Het is ingelijst in een heel bijzondere en grote zware antieke lijst en de ingelijste afmetingen bedragen 57 x 67 cm. Uiteraard kan dit werk ook worden geleverd in een andere lijst naar keuze.

 The model for this expressionistic portrait came from our garden; I picked just one of the many daffodils and made two studies of it. The first one was a tonal value study in greys, and after that I decided to use that one to make a very colorful sketch in pastels. This second study made me want to paint this large expressive floral portrait. It is framed in a very special antique frame (measuring 57 x 67 cms) and together they make a gorgeous combination. The painting is ofcourse also available in any other custom made framing.
