Ook in dit nieuwste uilen portret trekken in die prachtige grote ogen als eerste de aandacht. Anders kan het ook haast niet… dat transparante glanzende vormt daarnaast ook nog eens een fantastisch mooi contrast met dat bijzonder getekende, zachte verenkleed. Ik heb dit portret gemaakt in gemengde technieken met houtskool, pastel, acryl en krijt op papier. Het is ‘hangend’ ingelijst, in een mooi op maat gemaakt aluminium frame met zwart fineer. Deze mooie lijst is voorzien van een inleg en museumglas. De afmetingen van de lijst bedragen 56 x 56 cm. 

 All focus is on the eyes, again, in this portrait of a stunning long eared owl. Those big, shiney transparant glass like eyes are -besides the fact that they look so very fairytale-like- also a stunning contrast to its feathers, which look very soft and have this complex pattern design. These birds are true pieces of art themselves.. I painted this portrait in mixed media consisting of charcoal, pastels, chalk and acrylic on paper. It is carefully framed in a custom made aluminium floater frame with black wood veneer and museum glass. The size of the framed work is 56 x 56 cms.
