De fluwelige vacht en prachtige vormen van deze jonge jersey koe worden aangelicht door het laatste warme licht van de dag. Dit is alweer het derde werk in mijn serie ’twilight jersey’, waar ik in grote contrasten zowel de dag als de nacht teken en schilder, weergegeven in een koeienlijf. Dit portret is getekend in houtskool en gemengde technieken op papier. Het is ‘hangend’ ingelijst in een op maat gemaakte aluminium baklijst met inleg en helder glas. De afmetingen van het geheel zijn ca. 66 x 44 cm.

 The velvety fur and beautiful shapes in this young jersey cows’ body are being lit by the last light of the day. This is my third work in the series ’twilight jersey’ where I paint the dark of the night and the light of the day as they become so obvious in the twilight. This portrait is made in charcoal and mixed media on handtoned paper. I used a custom made black aluminium floater frame with black matting and put the drawing in front of the matting so the frayed edges of the paper are visible. The size of the framed work is approximately 44 x 66 cms.
