Dit prachtige piemontese kalf heb ik geschilderd in olieverf op paneel. De piemontese koe heeft echt een andere vorm van hoofd en een heel andere uitdrukking en ik heb ervan genoten haar prachtige dromerige blik te portretteren! Door het beperkte kleurenpalet heeft het werk een heel rustige, tijdloze uitstraling en past het in ieder interieur. De afmetingen van het ingelijste werk bedragen 34 x 35 cm.

 I really enjoyed painting the dreamy look on the beautiful face of this piemontese calf. This cow breed has such a characteristic look, so very different then the other breeds I have portrayed until now. Their eyes are shaped differently and they have a dark skin, dark noses, but their fur turns lighter as they grow up. This pretty face is still brown so quite young. I painted her portrait in oils on wood panel and the framed size is 34 x 35 cms.
